Reading, MA

A welcoming town with small shops, restaurants and long-standing family businesses, Reading has a strong neighborhood feel with walkable streets and commuter rail access in the center of town. Residents appreciate their highly rated schools and a variety of community-wide celebrations throughout the year. You can step away for a peaceful walk at the beautiful Lake Quannapowitt, just next door, shop at major retail stores, or hop on the highways to venture toward Boston or the North Shore. Reading’s combination of winding suburban areas, along with historic homes and neighborhoods, provides appealing options for a variety of buyers.

A mix of neighborhoods with a charming town center, filled with local favorite restaurants, services and shops. The bustling commerce areas just off the highway make it easy to get to more restaurants, stores, services and entertainment venues. Woburn blends peaceful attractions like Horn Pond with community mainstays like the YMCA and the grand, historic library. Wilmington, MA

Bordered by Andover to the north and Burlington to the south, Wilmington offers a quieter residential setting with parks Silver Lake and Yentile Farm. It has a strong sense of community, evident in its great schools and community events — its most popular celebration being Fun on the Fourth, including a carnival and fireworks. Wilmington’s historic character shows in the streets lined with trees and picturesque houses with welcoming front porches. Wilmington’s two commuter rail lines and I-93 allow for convenient travel to Boston and surrounding areas, while maintaining a calmer pace day to day.

Lexington, MA

You may know Lexington for it’s highly sought after school district and for being the birthplace of the American Revolution — but it also has a main street lined with a variety of eateries, galleries, shops and services, as well as an outdoor cafe style area to enjoy the quaint scenery. The Minuteman Bike Trail runs just behind the commercial area, adding an active and connected element to the community. Ways to enjoy the arts, culture and history abound — from the farmer’s market to the Patriot’s Day Re-enactment. Lexington balances historic character with a vibrant, lived-in energy.

Winchester’s Town Hall shows off the historic architecture in this town. Designated as a Massachusetts Cultural District, it offers many opportunities to engage in the arts, such as Winchester Community Music School and The Griffin Museum of Photography. Boutique shops and diverse restaurants add to an active town center where residents enjoy concerts, celebrations and a farmer’s market in summer. It’s natural beauty shines in the Aberjoni River and Mystic Lake, while the commuter rail station gives easy access to Boston. Strong schools and long-term homeownership contribute to Winchester’s reputation as a stable, sought-after community.

Burlington, MA

Burlington combines residential neighborhoods with everyday convenience. Its town center is home to year round celebrations, the gazebo being a favorite site for prom photos, summer music and movie nights. It boasts a newer middle school, with two others in the rebuild/renovation process, including BHS. The recreation center offers classes and events for all ages. Its medical services, shopping — including Burlington Mall — and restaurant options abound. With I-95/128, Burlington has direct highway access, making it easy to commute in all directions. Great living for buyers who prioritize convenience and local amenities.
